But too often, they’re left wondering if the pensions and health benefits they earned will still be there. As governor, Sherrill will fight to protect pensions from budget raids and guarantee retirees the secure retirement they worked for. Jack Ciattarelli would be a disaster for public employees. He’s made it clear that if elected, he’s coming for public employees’ pensions and health care. He’d slash retiree benefits, raise the pension age, and end state workers ability to work from home. Ciattarelli’s promised his own “NJDOGE on Day One!” that would cut thousands of state jobs.
