The deadline to register to vote in New Jersey is Tuesday, October 14th.

Check your registration today. Visit https://nj.gov/state/elections/voter-registration.shtml. The deadline is coming fast, and every vote counts – because the stakes are so high in this election when the race for governor, and all 80 seats in the State Assembly is up for grabs. Additionally, dozens of rank-and-file union members have answered labor’s call and are running for various municipal, county and state offices.
As union leaders, it is our obligation to make sure that each and every union member is registered to vote and cast a ballot.
There are three ways to register to vote in New Jersey, online, in-person and by mail.
Online: Complete online form through any computer, tablet or smart phone.
In-person: At all motor vehicle commission or county election offices.
By mail: Download, print, complete form and deposit in mailbox. No postage needed.
Our right to organize, bargain collectively, and secure fair wages and benefits is on the line. But we can do something about it when union members vote together. When union members vote, we don’t just cast ballots, we set the agenda, and politicians listen.
Stand together, register to vote, and vote by mail. Keep New Jersey union strong.
Visit www.njunionstrong.org to find out more, see the list of endorsed candidates, register to vote, apply to vote by mail. How you vote is a personal decision. However you decide, please vote on or before Nov 4.
