Mikie Sherrill is the Union Choice for NJ Governor

In Congress, Mikie Sherrill earned a 100% AFL-CIO lifetime voting record! She knows how important good union jobs are to working families. Sherrill served our country as a U.S. Navy helicopter pilot and fought for working families in Congress. As governor, Sherrill will make New Jersey more affordable, protect collective bargaining agreements, wages, benefits and working conditions. Our union endorses Mikie Sherrill for Governor.

Making New Jersey Affordable. Sherrill is committed to bringing down costs for working families, including the cost of housing, childcare, and everyday items like food and gas. In Congress she voted to lower the cost of prescription drugs and expand the child tax credit to help families make ends meet.
 
Protecting Workers’ Rights. Sherrill has always defended the rights of workers to collectively bargain for better wages and benefits. She supports prevailing wages and Project Labor Agreements, and she will protect our hard-earned pension and health care benefits.
 
Investing in Our State. Sherrill supported the bipartisan infrastructure law to repair our roads and bridges while creating thousands of good union jobs in New Jersey. As governor, she will invest in our public schools, improve our transit systems, and bring good jobs to our state.
