Union Brother Dan O'Connell Named 2025 St. Patrick's Parade Grand Marshal

The Central Labor Council congratulated our union brother, Daniel O'Connell, for being named the Grand Marshal of the 2025 Burlington County St. Patrick's Parade. Dan retired from SMART Transportation after more than 35 years as a locomotive engineer and union representative. Dan recently retired as County Commissioner and served previously on Delran Township Council member. 

As Grand Marshal, Dan set the theme for this year's parade on the contributions of Organized Labor and Essential Workers.  We thank Dan for always remember where he came from and always putting working people first. 

Come join our labor delegation and march in this year's St. Patrick's Parade on Saturday, March 1. We gather at the Acme on Route 541 in Mount Holly at 12pm. Parade kickoff is at 1pm. The CLC is hosting lunch for our group at the conclusion of the parade.
